We did it! I drove my VW-EV to Sauvie's Island for a weddign on Saturday at Kruger's Farm, and set it up as the photobooth. The guests came in through a curtain where the sliding door is and sat in the back seat. We got some amazing shots.

out of a feild in montana. wondering if an electric conversion works for me. i live 45 miles out of town. wondering if i did not use any back seats, but had that area for batteries. if i could get 100 mile range and go 55-65mph. alos wondering if a small deisel generator would help increase the range? any help? thanks
for some reason my comment left out the 1st part of my question. i have a '57 splitty van i got out of a field.
Hi Dan, That kind of range is tough with lead acid batteries because that would require too many batteries for the bus suspension to hold. Perhaps a trailer with batts could do it, but it would be tough. Spending a bit more on Nickle Metal Hidrides might do it. I'd ask at www.evdl.org they are the experts.
This is one of the most original, creative, fun things I've ever seen done with an EV. Or a VW Bus! I love it!
